Rotorua

Rotorua is full of stunning natural and unique attractions. There is plenty of things to do and see in the area. Here are a few that we think you will love!

Dave, the host of Geyser Lookout has plenty of knowledge in tourism so feel free to ask him for advice on what to do in your visit to Rotorua.

Pōhutu geyser

Pōhutu (‘poor-hoo-too’) is the largest active geyser in the southern hemisphere. It erupts once or twice every hour and sometimes reaches heights of 30 metres (100 feet). Pōhutu means ‘constant splashing’ in Māori.

-This is the Geyser which you can just see from the deck of our property, Geyser Lookout. It is amazing to view from near or far.
